63 candidates will compete for each seat at JnU

Application process of 1st year honors admission of Jagannath University (JnU) under 4 faculties has ended on September 28, 2012. 

 1,73,332 candidates have submitted their applications for 2,750 seats of the university. So, an average of 63 candidates will compete for each seat at JnU. 

The admission test of 'A' unit will be held on October 12, 2012 while admission test of 'B' unit will be held on October 19, 2012; admission test of 'C' unit on November 23, 2012 and admission test of 'D' unit will be held on November 9, 2012. 

This year 42,234 applicants have applied for 810 seats under 'A' unit. So, 52 candidates will compete for each seat in this unit. On the other hand, 42,719 applicants have applied for 720 seats under B unit and 59 candidates will compete for each seat in this unit.  44,725 applications have been submitted for 680 seats under 'C' unit and 66 candidates will compete for each seat in this unit. 

For 540 seats under 'D' unit, 43,654 applicants have applied and 81 candidates will compete for each seat in this unit.
