Advocate Jahurul Islam of Rajshahi Judges Court has served a legal notice on public interest to Vice-Chancellor of Rajshahi University, Registrar of the varsity and the Chairman of First Year Degree Honours Admission Committee of Rajshahi University demanding to cancel the admission process of the varsity within next three days of receiving of the notice because, he mentioned through his lawyer that the admission test process of unit A-3 of RU was totally illegal, intentional and aimed at fulfilling personal interest. The legal notice served through and signed by Advocate Ankur Sen of Rajshahi Judges Court in favour of Advocate Jahurul Islam said, his client Advocate Jahurul Islam was a former student of Rajshahi University. That he was stunned to watch the revised admission tests routine of 2012-2013 of Rajshahi University where it is mentioned that admission tests of unit A-3 even roll numbers, unit A-3 odd roll numbers and tests of all other units will be held in different time.
As a result, admission tests of same unit (unit-A-3, even roll numbers and odd roll numbers) will be held through different question papers. Holding of such tests for candidates having even roll numbers and the odd roll numbers of the same unit in different question papers will not justify the merit of thousands of admission seekers that is why such a decision of holding tests of same unit in different question papers was tainted with ill motive, intentional and aiming at fulfilling personal interest. The notice also asked the concerned RU authorities to cancel the admission process within next three days of receiving the notice, otherwise, he said, his client will take the refuge of law and in that case the said RU authorities will have to bear all responsibilities.
