DIU students exchange views with Norwegian media experts

A discussion and view exchange meet was held at the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication of Daffodil International University (DIU) among two Norwegian media experts, teachers and students of the university on Thursday, said a press release.

Of the Norwegian experts, Solveig Steien, Assistant Professor and Audgunn Oltedal, Associate Professor of the Department of Journalism and Media Studies of Oslo and Akershus University College of Applied Sciences exchanged views with the teachers and students of the Journalism and Mass Communication Department at the university.

With Professor Dr M Golam Rahman, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of DIU in the chair, Syed Mizanur Rahman, Head of the Department, moderated the session, the news release added.

A number of the students of the department took part in the session and asked questions in order to be acquainted with the media system of Norway. 

Sheikh Shafiul Islam, Assistant Professor, Rashedul Hasan, Quamrun Nahar, Farhana Urmee and Syed Mahfujul Haque Marjan, lecturers of the department, were among others present in the discussion.
