Graduation Ceremony held at BSMRAU

The graduation ceremony for the students of Bachelor of Science (Agriculture, 5th batch) and Bachelor of Science (Fisheries, 1st batch) of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural University (BSMRAU) was held at the university auditorium on April 16, 2013.

A total of 74 students of BS (Agriculture) and 23 students of BS (Fisheries) were conferred degrees at the ceremony.

Professor Dr. Md. Mahbubar Rahman, vice-chancellor of the university, was present as the chief guest and formally announced the result of BS (Agriculture) and BS (Fisheries).

The vice-chancellor also distributed a memento of the university and provisional certificates to the graduate students.

In his speech, Dr. Mahbub underscored the importance of graduation and he said it is a turning point for the life students to achieve the degree.

Professor Dr. Md. Giashuddin Miah, treasurer of the university, was present in the programmes as special guest. He congratulated the newly graduated students.

The function was chaired by Professor Dr. AJM Sirajul Karim, dean (Agriculture). Md. Abul Kalam Azad, BSMRAU registrar, delivered the welcome address.

Erin Jaman of BS (Agriculture) and AQM Robiul Kaiser, two meritorious students of the university, achieved GPA 4 out of 4 and expressed their feelings.

Faculty members and concerned officers were present at the programme.
