Feni University (FU) started its journey from December 09,2010 on project basis, with an informal meeting. Afterwards it started formal contact with University Grants Commission (UGS) and Ministry of Education (MoE) and thus came into being as a PrivateUniversity approved by Government of Bangladesh and UGC in November 2012, under the Private University Act-2010.
