DBBL Scholarship Awarded to 4,057 Students

Dutch-Bangla Bank Limited (DBBL) has awarded scholarship to 4,057 students on September 21, 2013 who passed SSC Examination in 2013. 

Abul Maal Abdul Muhith, MP, Minister for Finance was the chief guest and handed over the Scholarship Awarding Letters to the recipients at a ceremony held at Shaheed Shohrawardi Indoor Stadium, Mirpur. 

Gerben de Jong, the Ambassador of Kingdom of the Netherlands to Bangladesh, was the special guests. Sayem Ahmed, Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors of DBBL, presided over the function. KS Tabrez, Managing Director of the bank, was also present at the function. 

Minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith appreciated the DBBL's continuous humanitarian and welfare activities and termed this scholarship programme as a unique example of helping the meritorious and needy students of the country. 

Gerben de Jong also appreciated Dutch-Bangla Bank Foundation for its initiative to build the future of the underprivileged students which would go a long to the development of the human resources of the country. He also congratulated the students who got DBBL's Scholarship.
