Eastern University (EU) organized an orientation program on the campus for the students of the Fall 2013 semester, says a press release.
Vice chairman of board of governor, Eastern University Foundation Mohammed Ali Azam was the chief guest. Vice-Chancellor of EU Professor Dr. Nurul Islam welcomed the students and described the distinctive nature of EU's education which priorities liberal arts curricula along with mainstream subjects.
EU trustee board member Anwar Hossain Chowdhury, Professor Dr. ABM Shahidul Islam, Shekh Saydur Rahman were also presented in the event. Dean of Business Administration Professor Dr. Nazrul Islam, Dean of Faculty of Engineering and Technology Professor Md. Nurul Islam, Dean of Faculty of Arts Professor Kashinath Roy and Registrar of the university Beg Gen Shafaat Ahmed, NDC, PSC (retd) spoke on the occasion.
