The admission test in Rajshahi University (RU) for first year honors courses in the 2013-14 academic sessions is likely to begin from November 10 to November 14.
RU Vice-chancellor of Prof Mijanuddin disclosed this on Monday.
He said the decision has been taken as per the decision of the inter-university admission test council taken for holding the current year's admission test on Monday.
This year, the test will be held in 16 units for 47 departments under eight faculties like the previous years.
Eligibility for participating in the admission test and other preconditions will also remain unchanged.
The decision for ending the test on November 14 has been taken in coordination with admission tests of other universities, VC said.
Prof Nazrul Islam, Registrar of RU, told the journalists that the final decision in this regard will be taken in the meeting of Admission Sub-committee scheduled to be held on September 8.
Thereafter, detail information about the test will be made public through the RU's website and newspapers.
He said online registration for the admission will start from the second week of this month through Teletalk mobile phone.
