Textile Engineering Dept at CUET

Textile Engineering Department has been introduced at Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET).
A total of 60 students will get chance to take admission in the department from the academic year of 2012-13.
Public Relations Officer (PRO) of CUET Abdur Rahman made the disclosure to banglanews on Tuesday.

JU Reduces admission form price of C-Unit

The authority of Jahangirnagar University Tuesday reduced the price of admission form for first year honors students under Arts and Humanities department by TK 50.

The decision came from a meeting of admission test central management committee on Tuesday.

While disclosing the matter, JU Vice-Chancellor Professor M Anwar Hossain said, “We have reduced the price of admission forms for keeping the prices affordable for the students. However, the form price of other faculties and institutes will remain unchanged.”

Professor Mizanur Rahman appointed as Registrar of SAU

Professor Dr. Md. Mizanur Rahman of Entomology Department has been appointed as the registrar of Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University (SAU). SAU Vice-chancellor Professor Sadat Ullah appointed him as the registrar for next four years.

Professor Mizanur Rahman has received charge on September 7, 2012 from outgoing registrar (additional charge) engineer Azharul Islam.

He was born in December 31, 1968 in Chandpur district. He had got his masters degree from Bangladesh Agricultural University and PhD from BSMRAU, Gazipur in 2004.

Professor Dr. Md. Mizanur Rahman is also performing as a vice-president of the SAU teachers association. Different organization of SAU welcomed him at his office.
