The classes of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology
(BUET) are likely to resume from Saturday, after a long closer of
five-month.
Regarding the issue, BUET VC Professor Dr. SM Nazrul Islam said, “Regular classes and academic activities of the institute will begin Saturday.”
He hoped that all teachers and students will help him to bring back the past glory of the institute.
Besides, he urged all to help him to run the university peacefully and expected that the authority will recover the normal flow of the university soon.
“The teachers will hold classes regularly,” BUET Teachers Association President Professor Dr Mujibur Rahman confirmed banglanews.
Earlier on April 7, BUET teachers launched movements, agitation, including work abstention, bringing 16 allegations against the VC and Pro-VC. Students and university officials joined the agitation in mid-July.
