Day-long programme titled 'Discover Russia' was held on November 21, 2012 at Daffodil International University (DIU) auditorium, highlighting the civilisation and cultural heritage of the Russia, says a press release.
DIU English Literary Club (ELC) in cooperation with Russian Centre of Science and Culture, Dhaka, jointly organised the programme. The programmes included photography exhibition, film show, film review competition and discussion session on 'Study in Russia'.
Alexander Deomin, director, Russian Centre of Science and Culture, inaugurated the exhibition as the chief guest. The programme presided over by Nahid Kaiser, coordinator, English Literary Club. Conducted by club member Tamanna Mostafa, the function was addressed, by Yelena Nitolecheua, secretary of RCSC, Sergey Kitsanov, secretary in politic Section of RCSC, Professor Dr. Shusil Kumar Das, Dr. Binoy Barmon, head, Department of English, Veronika Minina, Researcher and Syed Raihan, President, ELC.
