The orientation programme for the first year honors students under 2012-13 academic session of Chittagong University (CU) Business Administration Department was held on January 1, 2012 at the faculty.
The CU vice-chancellor, Professor Anwarul Azim Arif, was present at the programme as the chief guest while Pro-Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Mohammad Alauddin addressed as special guest. Dean of the Business Administration faculty of the university Professor Dr. M Abu Taher chaired the programme.
Addressing the programme Abwarul Azim Arif said that the main aim of student life is to acquire knowledge under the guidance of teachers. 'We foster our dream among the new generation for talking the helm of the country's development', he said, adding only the students can play vital role in implementing the dream of wealthy nation. Former VC and Professor of marketing Studies and International Marketing Department of CU AJM Nuruddin Chowdhury, head of the department of Accounting and Information System Professor Dr. Harunur Rashid and head of the department of Management Studies Professor Dr. AFM Aorangajeb addressed the programme.
