Fresher's Reception at DIIT

Daffodil Institute of IT (DIIT) organized a reception for the newly enrolled students of its different disciplines at Daffodil International University (DIU) auditorium on February 04, 2013.

Dr. Hossain Zillur Rahman, executive chairman of Power and Participation Research Centre (PPRC) and also former advisor to a caretaker government, was present at the program as the chief guest. Md. Sabur Khan, president of Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) and chairman of Daffodil Group, and Professor Dr. M Lutfar Rahman, Vice-Chancellor of DIU, were special guests. The program was chaired by Mohammad Nuruzzaman, executive director of DIIT.

Among others, Rathindra Nath Das, DIIT director, and Shamsuddin Ahammad, deputy academic director of DIIT, were also present on the occasion. Addressing the function, Dr. Hossain Zillur Rahman said Information Technology is now a part and parcel of our lives. He urged the fresher's to acquire and utilize the institutional skills and experience achieved from DIIT.

Md. Sabur Khan urged the new generation to set the career goal immediately, work hard to achieve the goals. He also advised them to use technologies smartly in all respective aspects of life so that they can stay ahead. Mohammad Nuruzzaman, in his speech, advised the students to concentrate on their study and become sincere for a better career. Rathindra Nath Das suggested everyone to give importance to moral education and international standard education.
