BUET BCL leader stabbed on campus

Unidentified miscreants on Tuesday attacked a student of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) with sharp weapon as he was entering his room at Kabi Nazrul Islam Hall on the campus, reports BSS.
 
The victim was identified as Arif Raihan Dip and was sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital on Tuesday noon.
 
Dip, 24, was a student of Mechanical Engineering department of BUET and a leader of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL).
 
Hospital sources said the patient's condition was critical.
 
"Three youths, wearing pajama and panjabi and equipped with sharp weapons, swooped on him at his room no 224 of Kabi Nazrul Islam Hall on BUET campus at about 10:40am," Sub-inspector Mohammad Habibur Rahman told BSS.
