Dhamrai Govt. College was established in 1972.Dhamrai
Govt founded by the freedom fighter Alhaj Jamal Uddin Ahmed.College was
Nationalized in 1984 by the initiave of the then honorable prim minister
late Ataur Rahaman Khan. In the early stage it was an intermediate
college. In 1994 Dhamrai Govt. College was recognized by the National
University as a Degree College. In 2010 Honourse Course was introduced
in this college.
In The Intermediate Course it has three branches: Humanities, Science and Business Studies. In The Degree Course it has B.A, B.S.S, B.B.S, B.Sc. Faculty. The
College is highly rich in the field of sports and Cultural Activities.
