The Orientation of newly appointed Faculty Members in different departments of Southeast University (SEU) was held at University Seminar Hall on 8th June 2013.
Professor Dr. Anwar Hossain, Vice-Chancellor of Southeast University was the Chief Guest and Professor Dr. ANM Meshquat Uddin, Pro-VC was the Special Guest of the Program. Brig Gen Md. Anwarul Islam ndc, psc, G+ (Retd), Registrar, Wing Commander Syed Ahmed Kabir, fawc, psc (Retd), Chief Coordinator, Board of Trustees, South Asia Foundation and Southeast University, Professor Syed Fakhrul Hassan, Dean (acting) School of Science & Engineerin and Proctor of the University, Professor Dr. Mohammed Salek, Dean (acting) School of Business Studies were attended the ceremony.
Wing Commander Syed Ahmed Kabir gave a brief introduction about the university in his address of welcome to all the participant. Brig Gen Md. Anwarul Islam also introduced administrative dept's., focusing on resources available and services provided by each Department, academic code of conduct, office punctuality, leave rules and process of submitting applications.
Professor Dr. Meshquat Uddin delivered his speech about teaching techniques, preparing course outline, developing questions, students' evaluation, research & publication, promotion & career building. Mr. Mofazzal Hossain, Controller of Examinations, delivered his speech about Exam systems, preparing & photocopying of question papers & confidentiality issues etc. Mr. M. Abdullah Al Mamun, Assistant Professor, School of Business Studies was the Coordinator of the New Faculty Orientation Program. In the end, Vice Chancellor of the University delivered the vote of thanks.
