A two-day orientation program for the students of Summer 2013 trimester of United International University (UIU) was held on June 7 & 8 at the UIU auditorium, says a press release.
Students in the School of Business and Economics and School of Science and Engineering participated in the orientation program. UIU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. M. Rezwan Khan, presided over the ceremonies while Md. Monwar Hossain, MD and CEO, Bangladesh Submarine Cable Company Ltd was present as the Chief Guest.
Professor Dr. Chowdhury Mofizur Rahman, Pro-Vice Chancellor, Professor Dr. Habibur Rahman, School of Business and Economics, Professor Dr. Hasan Sarwar, Head Department of CSE, Dr. Raqibul Mostafa, Head Department of EEE, Professor ASM Salahuddin, Registrar, Suman Ahmmed, Director of Students Affairs, spoke on the programs. Heads of different departments, teachers, guardians, students and the invited guests were present in the programs.
