The government has rescheduled the Junior School Certificate, and the madrassa equivalent certification the Junior Dakhil Certificate, in the wake of the 60-hour shutdown called by the opposition alliance.
The examinations originally scheduled on November 4 will be held on November 8 at 2:15pm, while the examinations originally scheduled on November 6 will be held on November 9 at 10am.
Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid made the announcement at a press conference at the secretariat on Sunday.
The 18-party alliance has called a 60-hour countrywide general strike starting from Monday.
