Fresher's orientation program held at ASAUB

Department of Public Health of ASA University Bangladesh (ASAUB) celebrated orientation program at its conference room for newly enrolled spring-2013 semester students of Master of Public Health (MPH) on February 01, 2013.

Professor Dr. Dalem Chandra Barman, ASAUB Vice-Chancellor, was present at the program as the chief guest and Professor Md. Muinuddin Khan, adviser of ASAUB, attended the function as special guest. Professor Dr. Md. Abdul Bari, chairman of public health department, delivered the welcome speech.

The program was also attended by Professor Dr. ASM Amanullah, adviser of the department, Professor Dr. Anisur Rahman, head of the Department of Epidemiology, NIPSOM and other faculties.

The speakers exchanged their views with the newly admitted MPH students about course structure and syllabus. They apprised the students of the facilities available at ASAUB and highlighted job opportunities for MPH degree holders at home and abroad. Dr. Jesmin Akhter, coordinator of the department, conducted the event.
