The Department of English, Northern University Bangladesh (NUB) arranged
a 'Fresher's Reception Ceremony' for the newly admitted students of
'Spring Semester-2013' on February 07, 2013 at City Campus (Kawran
Bazar).
Professor Dr. Abu Yousuf Md. Abdullah, Chairman, NUB Trust was the Chief Guest in the Fresher's Reception Program. Professor Sher Mohammad, Head, Dept. of English chaired the program. Among others, Professor Dr. M. Shamsul Haque, Vice-Chancellor, Mr. ABM Rashedul Hassan, Treasurer, Mr. Md. Abdur Rouf, Registrar of NUB and Professor Dr. Sadruddin Ahmed, Dean, Faculty of Arts, NUB were present as special guest in the program.
Other teachers and students of the English Department were also present on the occasion. The new comers were welcomed by giving flower at the beginning of the program. The program was ended with colorful cultural event.
