Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB) organized a seminar recently on 'Faculty Research: Challenges, Opportunities and Constraints' at its Bashundhara campus.
Professor Syed Saad Andaleeb, Distinguished Professor of Marketing, Pennsylvania State University, USA and Editor, Journal of Bangladesh Studies, was the key-note speaker. Professor Andaleeb presented his research paper entitled 'Research in Higher Education Institutions in Bangladesh: Faculty Perceptions'. The presentation was followed by an inspiring discussion session.
Mr. Rashed Chowdhury, Chairman, Board of Trustees, IUB, attended the seminar as the Chief Guest. Professor M Omar Rahman, Vice-Chancellor, delivered the welcome remarks. The seminar was attended by a large number of faculty members, senior students and management personnel.
