BRAC University PG Admission Fall-2012

Canadian International School Admission notice

Emamul new principal of Rajuk Model College

Brigadier General Emamul Huda (PSC) was made new principal of Rajuk Uttara Model College in city.

On the other hand, Brigadier General Md. Golam Hossain PSC was withdrawn from the post of principal and he was attached to armed forces to re-appoint in Bangladesh Army.

Public Administration Ministry issued an order in this regard on Tuesday morning.

Besides, Major Md. Rezaur Rahman (PSC) was attached to Education Ministry for posting to Bangladesh University of Professional (BUP) MPO.

BUET reopens after 44 days

The Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) reopened on Saturday after a 44-day shutdown stemming from protests by its teachers and students seeking ouster of the Vice-Chancellor.

However, no classes were held on Saturday.

Holding admission test to BUET for the 2012-2013 session has also become uncertain as the protesting teachers have been boycotting classes and other academic activities for more than a month.

Following the protest of the students and teachers demanding resignation of the VC and Pro-Vice Chancellor, BUET authorities had advanced the Eid-ul-Fitr vacation, from July 10. But the protesters continued their movement.

Some of the demonstrating teachers said they continued their protests at personal level by skipping classes but without any formal declaration of any protest plan to guard themselves against contempt of court charge.

The High Court on Aug 14 in a rule ordered authorities to start the admission process of the first-year students amid the teachers' protests.

Asked whether all the teachers had decided not to take classes, BUET Teachers Association General Secretary Ashraful Islam told bdnews24.com: "This is not the association's decision. If a teacher does not take classes, it's his personal decision."

The teachers' association has been leading the protest against the VC and the Pro-VC.

"We still demand that they (VC and Pro-VC) resign. We hope the government will take positive measures considering the situation of BUET," Islam said.

Vice-Chancellor SM Nazrul Islam, however, on Saturday hoped the teachers would return to classes.

"Maybe they did not come today (Saturday) as it was the first day. They will attend in the coming days," he said.

Asked what action would be taken if they didn't take the classes even after that, Islam dodged the query and said, "I'm in a meeting… I'll talk later."

The VC, who faced harsh protest from his colleagues and students recently, had earlier also threatened to continue the university's academic activities by appointing new teachers.

About the admission process, he on Saturday said the university's Academic Council meeting would decide on the issue on Tuesday.

However, a leader of the teachers association, preferring not to be named, told bdnews24.com: "The deans and chairmen of the departments will have to be called upon if the authorities decide to proceed with the admission test. But those teachers will not attend the meeting for sure."

The teachers association had started abstaining from work on Apr 7 demanding the removal of the VC and Pro-VC Habibur Rahman.

After the Prime Minister had promised to consider their demand, they had postponed the strike for one month. But as their demand was not met within July 7, they started work abstention for two hours from 11am.

Facing protests by the teachers and students, the BUET authorities shut the university on July 10, a month in advance for Ramadan and Eid-ul-Fitr, until Aug 24. The decision intensified the protests.

On July 11, 24 teachers holding academic posts resigned. Then the teachers association announced that the teachers would resign en masse on July 22 if there demand was not met.

They, however, postponed the 'resignation decision' until July 30. Since then they have been staging token hunger-strike on the campus for two hours from 11am every day.

After meeting former VCs and senior teachers of BUET, Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid had said a solution would be worked out after discussions with the Prime Minister and the President.

The High Court on Aug 14 ordered the university authorities to immediately start procedures for admissions to the 2012-13 academic session. It also issued a rule asking why the movement of the teachers should not be declared illegal.

Since then, the BUET teachers have not announced officially any protest programme.

The Vice-Chancellor of North South University (NSU) Professor Hafiz G A Siddiqi resigned from his post. He submitted his resignation letter to the government on August 22, 2012.

In his resignation letter he wrote, 'Please accept my voluntary retirement with effect from September 1, 2012. I have decided to resign due to old age and health ground.'

Sources informed that, he met education secretary and submitted the resignation letter to the secretary. Later he met education minister Nurul Islam Nahid on the same day.

Sources also informed that, the duration of Professor Hafiz was till December 1, 2012. But he resigned earlier facing inner conflict of NSU.

The trustees were divided over some major issues such as chairmanship of the trust, appointment of a pro-vice-chancellor and teachers and some other issues. Though new trustee board has been formed, students, their guardians and teachers of the University are still worried as conflicts among the university trustees are hampering academic activities.

Bangladesh wants to be a manpower sourcing country

Bangladesh wants to ensure the opportunities for manpower export to Malaysia as an enlisted manpower sourcing country before the government of the South-east Asian country reopens its labour market for the Bangladeshi workers.

Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment Secretary Zafar Ahmed Khan told bdnews24.com on Thursday that the ministry has taken a strong position in that direction.

He said, a delegation of the Malaysian government would be visiting Bangladesh in the second week of September to discuss ways for recruiting workers from Bangladesh and the issue would be accorded the highest priority during talks with the delegation.

"Malaysia currently recruits manpower from 13 sourcing countries. Bangladesh wants Malaysia to recognise it as a sourcing country. A proposal has also been given to the concerned authorities to this effect," he said.

"Once Bangladesh is recognised as a source country, then it will be easy to send Bangladeshi workers to Malaysia regularly and it will also reduce migration cost," he added.

He said that it was the permanent system for manpower recruitment.

"There'll be no scope of stopping manpower recruitment after taking a certain number of labourers, like in the case of the 'calling visa policy'."

The official said that the Malaysian government was also "keen" on declaring Bangladesh as a sourcing country. Bangladesh will take a strong position on the issue during the discussion next month.

"We'll think twice before sending workers to Malaysia on a temporary basis unless they recognise Bangladesh as a 'sourcing country'," he stressed.

On Aug 11 this year, Malaysian Human Resource Minister Datuk Seri Dr S Subramaniam said at a function in Kuala Lumpur that he would lead a delegation to visit Bangladesh after the Eid to see the recruitment system adopted by Bangladesh government.

He also said that during the visit, officers from his ministry and the Home Ministry would study the mechanism in Bangladesh as the recruitment would be carried out on a government-to-government basis.

The Malayasian minister said their industries also are asking the government to open the ban on Bangladeshi workers because of the shortage of workers.

"Once we've put the mechanism in place, then we can decide whether to open up or not," he said.

The Overseas Employment Secretary said on Thursday that it would be possible to send some 500,000 workers to Malaysia by reducing the migration cost and ensuring transparency once the Malaysian government withdrew the ban and recognised Bangladesh as a sourcing country.

Microsoft unveils a new logo

Microsoft on Thursday unveiled a new corporate logo "to express the company's diverse portfolio of products" as the US tech giant ramps up for a series of big launches.

The new logo, updated for the first time in 25 years, features a square which contains four separate colored squares. The old logo had a similar look but the squares appeared deformed as if part of a flag waving in the wind.

The move comes with Microsoft ramping up for its Windows 8 platform and its first tablet computer, called Surface. The company is also making an aggressive effort to gain ground in the smartphone market.

"It's been 25 years since we've updated the Microsoft logo and now is the perfect time for a change," said Microsoft brand strategy manager Jeff Hansen.

"This is an incredibly exciting year for Microsoft as we prepare to release new versions of nearly all of our products. From Windows 8 to Windows Phone 8 to Xbox services to the next version of Office, you will see a common look and feel across these products providing a familiar and seamless experience on PCs, phones, tablets and TVs.

"This wave of new releases is not only a reimagining of our most popular products, but also represents a new era for Microsoft, so our logo should evolve to visually accentuate this new beginning."

The logo also includes the name Microsoft in the Segoe font which is used in products and marketing communications, along with the new squares.

"The symbol is important in a world of digital motion," Hansen said. "The symbol's squares of color are intended to express the company's diverse portfolio of products."

The new logo is being used starting Thursday on the Microsoft.com website and in three Microsoft retail stores today.

"It will sign off all of our television ads globally," Hansen said.

"And it will support our products across various forms of marketing... We're excited about the new logo, but more importantly about this new era in which we're reimagining how our products can help people and businesses throughout the world realize their full potential."

'Ek Tha Tiger' works wonders overseas too

Salman and success have become synonymous over the past couple of years. His ‘Ek tha tiger’ has raked in more than 137 crores in the past 7 days.
Not only in India, the movie has done wonders overseas too. In New Zealand it has become the highest earning Indian movie of all time. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh, who keeps people aware of all the details through Bollywood Hungama, had tweeted, "#EkThaTiger is @BeingSalmanKhan’s biggest hit in New Zealand. Biz at par with #3Idiots, #MNIK and #Housefull2 there."
The movie has done well in UK too. About which Taran had tweeted, “#EkThaTiger *UK* Wed £ 71,790 [25 screens yet to report]. Total: £ 888,650 [Rs 7.79 cr]. Racing towards £ 1 million mark!”
Earning in Australia too were not bad, "#EkThaTiger *Australia* Wed A$ 15,227. Total: A$ 494,248 [Rs 2.87 cr]. Ranks amongst the biggest grosser in Australia."
YRF is already thinking of making a sequel to the movie and have also registered names like ‘Ek Hai Tiger’ and ‘Ek Rahega Tiger’ for the proposed sequel.
With this collection it is likely to overtake Salman’s earlier 100 crores club movies ‘Dabangg’ and ‘Bodyguard’. Salmania is perhaps the success mantra for his movies. As all his movies are released during Eid, his fans feel they are more connected to him from the heart than mind.
After Eid, Taran had tweeted , “Although the holy month of Ramzan kept a chunk of the movie-going audience away from theatres, yet, the opening weekend business of the film is far superior than Bodyguard [except U.K.], which is the biggest opener of Salman Khan in the international arena.”
Salman’s earlier movies ‘Bodyguard’s earnings have been 148 crores and ‘Dabangg’s 147 crores. It is most likely to overtake their earnings. If it can earn more than Amir’s ‘3 Idiots’, which had grossed 300 crores, is yet to be seen. Trade analysts are expecting it to earn more than 200 crores in India alone.
In ‘Ek tha Tiger’ Salman has cut down on the crass jokes and made up for it with his acting abilities. But some, including the critics have felt that the film lacks in a credible story. It seems though, for mass entertainers, story is not so important. With proper distribution, aggressive promotion (to create mass hysteria) and satellite rights, movies are becoming hits well before they are released. By the time public knows they have been ‘fooled’, the film has already raked in the mullah.

Salman Khan’s biggest blockbusters

Salman Khan is definitely on cloud nine and has become a money spinner for filmmakers.

The ‘midas’ touch of Salman is working in every film as he is setting new Box Office records. He is in the best phase of his career right now, delivering back-to-back blockbusters no matter whatever the film’s content is.

Salman has had flings with Bollywood ladies Aishwarya Rai and Katrina Kaif. Other than these two, he has also been linked with Sangeeta Bijlani, Somy Ali, Bruna Abdallah, and Claudia Ciesla.

Salman has been the subject of several controversies and has faced legal troubles for rash and negligent driving. He was also involved in another controversy related to hunting of endangered Chinkara and black buck.

He has acted in around 80 films till date.

Ek Tha Tiger – Movie Review

There is something about the Salman-Katrina pairing. Something that goes deeper than a real-life affection. Even deeper than that crackling pitch-perfect chemistry that we see among endearing star-pairs, like Raj-Nargis, Rajesh -Mumtaz, Shah Rukh-Kajol…you name it!

Here in “Ek Tha Tiger”, we see a look of genuine protectiveness in Salman’s eyes every time he looks at Katrina Kaif. That look suits the film’s purposes fine. “Ek Tha Tiger” is the love story of two spies from different sides of the border who during the course of their volatile sinister cloak-and-dagger work, fall head over heels in love.

As the lovers flee their enemies, they are pursued by do mulk ke dushman. Which is nine mulk less than where Shah Rukh’s Don was wanted.

Salman’s spy-hero code-named Tiger cuts through the chase, brings the secret agent’s role down to an amiably human level, drawing secret alcoves of childlike vulnerability and, yes, humour from his character’s secret life, making the spy’s double life look doubly redeemable.

Every time Salman looks at Katrina his eyes melt. Kabir Khan taps the actor’s potential to fill up the screen to great advantage. Even while flexing his biceps through four continents in some of the best staged action sequences in some never-seen rugged exotic spots of the earth (full marks to action director Conrad Palamisano) Salman gets lots of very quiet contemplative moments with his beautiful co-star. For once the superstar looks neither bored nor distracted. And he isn’t impatient to move on.

Ruminative reflective rich in self-mocking resonances, Salman’s spy in “Ek Tha Tiger” is a remarkably restrained and expressive character. He handles both the action and the romantic sequences with seamless empathy.

Katrina gets better with every film. As a woman who had a genuinely happy childhood that has been snatched away by the nature of her profession, her eyes convey infinite pain. She conveys pain and love with as much elan as she kicks ass when the need arises. Yup, this lady rocks.

Kabir Khan whose earlier Katrina starrer “New York” defined Islamic isolation during times of terrorism with gripping gusto, this time, decides to have fun with the espionage genre without trivialising it. The blend of action and romance is achieved with a fluency that we’ve seldom seen in the action-romance genre.

The storytelling is laced with a loads of humour. Aseem Mishra’s camera-work punctuates the pungent drama of lovers on the run, capturing the bustle and the festivity of Ireland, Cuba and Istanbul with much warmth and affection and a detached fascination that is the opposite of touristic curiosity.

Kabir Khan has an eye for everyday details. Though his frames are arranged to convey aesthetics, the beauty of the moments shared by lovers is never defined by their surroundings.

It’s a very commonplace attraction seen in umpteenth Hindi films of every hue and variety. What makes director Kabir Khan’s telling of this routine love story come alive, is the presentation and packaging, both unique but never over-punctuated.

Epic in design the film has a surprisingly low number of main characters.

Kabir works on building the love story through the intelligently-written interaction between the two protagonists rather than their exotic environment or the incidental characters. Still, Girish Karnad as Tiger’s boss and Ranvir Shorey as Salman’s buddy-in-arms are first-rate. Never letting the script down.

It’s not easy to make an intelligent film on intelligence without tripping over the barbed wires of politics and espionage jargon. Kabir Khan strips the love stories to its bare necessities without diminishing the density of the drama.

“Ek Tha Tiger” is more a passionate love story than an actioner. Brilliantly scripted and deftly directed it’s Salman Khan’s best film in ages. As for his chemistry with Katrina Kaif, it is the stuff legendary love stories are made of.

Very few films make you sit at the edge of your seat when the hero fights and then makes you recline in sighing submission when he romances his sweetheart, in equal measures.

Teaser of Shahrukh Khan-Katrina starrer out – without any title!

The highly anticipated first teaser of Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma starrer, directed by Yash Chopra, has been released but what is suprising is that it has been launched without a title.

“Never before has a film’s trailer been released without its title. This one insinuates that it just may be called ‘Yash Chopra’s Romance’. However, the teaser does confirm that the film will release on Diwali,” said an insider.

The teaser of the film, which marks the comeback of Yash Chopra as director after a gap of eight years, begins with the tagline “A Yash Chopra Romance” and takes the viewers through his iconic journey via short clippings of his blockbuster films like “Waqt”, “Deewar”, “Kabhi Kabhie”, “Silsila”, “Dil Toh Pagal Hai”, “Veer Zara”, among others.

And eventually gives a sneak peak of the granduer of the new untitled film with shots of Shah Rukh, Katrina and Anushka.

There is no ego in Salman Khan: Kabir Khan

Kabir Khan, whose first project with Salman Khan hits theatres tomorrow, says the Bollywood superstar gave his inputs into the film's making but respected his views as the director.

The 46-year-old actor, who plays a spy in 'Ek Tha Tiger', apparently suggested many changes in the scenes that were already sealed.

"Though he is a mega star, he never gives suggestions from the place of power. He would give suggestions on lines and scenes but ultimately it is your call as a director and he respects that as well. There is no ego whatsoever in Salman," Kabir told PTI.

The director said he has had a warm relationship with Salman for a long time, even though it took him some time to work with the actor.

"Not many know that I had first narrated the script of 'Kabul Express' to him. It wasn't as if I thought that he would do it; it is just that a friend told me to narrate the script to him just to gain some inputs.

"I went with no expectations and could see that he had developed a liking for me. I showed him a documentary that I had made on Afghanistan and that he was very excited. He was very encouraging and supporting towards me," said Kabir.

Even though Salman is playing a spy in the film, Kabir says the role is nothing like that of James Bond.

"Salman is playing a spy but the attempt is not to make him a James Bond here. I think when filmmakers try to do that, they end up taking the charm from telling a real story."

"I strongly feel that James Bond can't work in our country. Heroes in our country is anyway not less than James Bond. He does impossible things with ease. I always wanted to make a film with a big star, especially with a story like 'Ek Tha Tiger' but then wanted to keep it real," said Kabir.

With his larger than life image fetching Salman four blockbusters in a row, Kabir says the scale of 'Ek Tha Tiger' suited him very well.

"Salman has an inherent larger than life quality to him. 'Ek Tha Tiger' compliments that with the kind of scale and spread that would fascinate audiences worldwide."

Marriage talk makes Katrina Kaif uncomfortable

Actress Katrina Kaif might have played bride on-screen many times, but off-screen she is not so comfortable talking about marriage.

As the 28-year-old walked Saturday the ramp for designer Manish Malhotra`s bridal look at the Delhi Couture week, she was in no mood to talk about marriage.

"I think marriage is something very personal question. If people constantly ask that question, it becomes slightly uncomfortable. It cannot work like that," Katrina said when reporters asked her would she replicate her reel life action in real life and ask Salman Khan, "Why are you not married?"

In her forthcoming release ‘Ek Tha Tiger’, in one of the scenes, Katrina asks the same question from co-star Salman, who plays a spy in the action-thriller coming out Aug 15.

HC urges to start BUET admission process

The High Court on Tuesday asked the authority concerned to start the admission first year procedure in Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) for the academic year 2012-13.

An HC bench comprising of Justice Naima Haider and Justice Muhammad Khurshid Alam Sarker passed the order in response to a writ filed with it earlier.

Earlier on July 29, Supreme Court lawyer Advocate Yunus Ali Akond filed the petition seeking its directives on the authorities concerned to open the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) classes within 24 hours.

In the petition, he sought the court’s directives also to take step in stopping BUET unrest and strike.

As per the petition, BUET authorities closed the institution for 44 days from July 11 in the name of summer vacation which affected the students’ study and examinations procedure.

He also sought court directive to the BUET authorities to start the admission process for the fresh students.

Nepal govt ban on young women migrants

The Nepali government should revoke its new ban on women under the age of 30 from working in Arab Gulf countries and instead should improve protections so domestic workers can migrate safely – such as by ensuring full monitoring and accountability of recruitment agencies in Nepal. At the same time governments in the Gulf should adopt long overdue labor protections and immigration reforms, including ending the discriminatory treatment of domestic workers, to combat abuse of Nepali and other migrant workers.

On August 9, 2012, Nepal’s cabinet approved a ban on women under the age of 30 from traveling to the Gulf for work. The ban is a response to several publicized cases of abuse of Nepali domestic workers, including long work hours, unpaid wages, and in some cases physical or sexual abuse. This recent move comes two years after Nepal lifted a 12-year ban on any women working in Middle Eastern countries.

“Nepal is right to be concerned about its migrant domestic workers, but imposing a ban on women under 30 from traveling to the Gulf does not solve the problem and discriminates against young women”, said Nisha Varia, senior women’s rights researcher at Human Rights Watch. “A better strategy would be to crack down on abusive recruitment practices, ensure that women migrate with an enforceable contract in hand, and equip embassies to respond quickly to complaints of abuse.”

Official Nepali emigration figures state that as many as 1,000 migrants pass daily through Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu; many others leave by land through the porous Indian border. Many domestic workers have positive experiences and together send home billions of dollars in remittances each year to Asia. Others face abuse.

Human Rights Watch has documented discrimination and abuse against Asian domestic workers in the Middle East for several years. Labor laws in the Gulf exclude domestic workers from basic protections guaranteed other workers such as a weekly rest day, limits to hours of work, and compensation in case of work-related injury. Restrictive immigration rules make it difficult for domestic workers to escape from abusive employers.

A ban on work in the Gulf may drive women desperate for work to migrate through irregular channels, putting them at greater risk of exploitation and trafficking, Human Rights Watch said. Human Rights Watch interviewed Nepali domestic workers in Saudi Arabia during the previous ban and found that they were especially likely to encounter abuse. They had no information about their rights, no employment contracts, and were more likely to migrate with illegal recruiters who left them heavily indebted. If they faced abuse from their employers, their precarious legal status made it more difficult for them to approach or receive assistance from authorities.

Instead of a blanket ban on young women that denies them important employment opportunities, Nepal‘s government should work with other labor-sending governments to demand stronger protections for migrant workers in the Gulf, Human Rights Watch said. It urged the Nepali government to improve training of migrant workers, to monitor recruitment agencies rigorously, and to ensure migrant women know where to get help if they need it.

“Governments in the Gulf should heed the concern about abuse against domestic workers in their countries,” said Varia. “They should move quickly to include domestic workers in labor laws, prosecute abusive employers, and improve cooperation with labor-sending countries.”

Nepal has obligations under its interim constitution and international law to protect women from discrimination, including in employment. The Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women, which Nepal ratified in 1991, requires states to eliminate discrimination against women in the field of employment. Human Rights Watch called on the Nepali government to ratify the International Labor Organization Convention on Decent Work for Domestic Workers.

Kabir Khan says 'Ek Tha Tiger' is the complete package

Director Kabir Khan and actor Salman Khan talked about Ek Tha Tiger, calling it the complete package. The film brings together Salman and Katrina Kaif after a gap of four years.

The much awaited Yash Raj Films' romantic action thriller Ek Tha Tiger, which sees Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif coming together after four years, is a complete package and it has many USPs, says its director Kabir Khan.

"There is not one USP of the film and I think that is the reason why people are liking the promo too. 'Ek Tha Tiger' is a complete package film. It has the whole package of Salam-Katrina, action and Yash Raj productions," said Khan, who got critical acclaim for his movies "Kabul Express" and "New York", at a press conference in Mumbai on Sunday.

Salman Khan also was present and both of them came wearing 'Being tiger' T-shirts. Talking about his favourite shot, the 46-year-old actor said since the film is so well made, he cannot pick one shot.

"It will take me at least a day to think and tell you my one favourite shot from the film. When the movie is not good, then it is easy to pick one best shot. But in a movie like 'Ek Tha Tiger', where every shot is so good, one cannot tell which is the best one," he said.

Releasing on Independence Day, Wednesday, "Ek Tha... is Salman-Katrina's first release after they parted ways. Their last film together was 2008 release "Yuvvraaj".

Salman Khan appreciates Katrina's performance in the film and says she is very good in the film. "Sonia in 'Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya' was okay, Anushka in 'Yuvvraaj' was good but Zoya in 'Ek Tha Tiger' is too good," he said.

Katrina Kaif, who was also expected at the conference, did not turn up, as she was not well. Both Salman and Kabir Khan apologised for her absence.

Shahrukh is extremely dedicated says Katrina Kaif

While Katrina is all excited about her upcoming release “Ek Tha Tiger” with Salman Khan which hits theaters on 15th of august, her shooting for Yash Raj’s untitled film starring Shahrukh Khan is also in full swing. While Katrina has worked with salman in films before, this was the first time she is doing a film with SRK, and Katrina was quite intimidated.

Katrina on her experience working with Shahrukh, “With Shahrukh Khan initially there was lot of intimidation, from my side because I really didn’t know him that well. I probably said five words to him in my entire life. I have seen him around but it’s only now that I am working with him. When I came here I worked with so many people but never really got to interact with him. I have been in the film industry for nine years. He is constantly in the news, TV, everywhere around. SO for me that little intimidation was always, which I later found funny and I didn’t realize why it was so. It’s strange!”

She further added, “Shahrukh as a co-star is extremely dedicated. He doesn’t think about himself and never showing off his stardom/seniority. He took extra time to stand & rehearse the lines with me and help me out there. He is extremely helpful. As he’s also worked with Yashji in many films he knows what he wants and what is to be done.”

Even though she has worked with Yash raj before, she admits never speaking to him until they started the shooting for this film.

Katrina reveals, “Yashji is incredibly sweet and nice person. It took him a while to understand me. When he used to talk to me off the set, he told me, ‘I can’t make out whether you are happy, or sad or angry.’ I told Yashji it’s just me; it takes me a while, but you will understand soon enough. Now we crack jokes with each other.”

‘Ek Tha Tiger’ will outperform ’3 Idiots’ at the box office, says Aamir Khan!

In Bollywood, praising ones frenemy is very rare. However, Aamir Khan, the humble bee that he is, can’t stop talking about Salman Khan and his upcoming film Ek Tha Tiger. Also, the perfectionist admits that he hardly knows Shahrukh Khan.
Talking about Ek Tha Tiger, Aamir says, the film is sure to reach or even surpass his super hit flick ’3 Idiots’ which is the only film to have crossed a Rs 200 cr mark.
“I think I will soon have Salman’s company in the `200-cr club,” Aamir told in an interview.

Salman’s luck running very strong, says Sonakshi Sinha!

Ek Tha Tiger is all set to hit screen tomorrow i.e 15 August, and Salman Khan is being poured with good luck wishes from all four sides of the industry.
Actress Sonakshi Sinha too conveys her best wishes to the actor and is pretty confident that the film will do great at the box office. Wishing her first co-star all the best, Sonakshi Sinha said,
“I wish him all the very best. However, he doesn’t need any good luck wishes, his luck is already running very strong and I am sure even ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ is going to do very well,” said the 25-year-old, who made her Bollywood debut opposite Salman Khan in “Dabangg”.

Romantic scenes is not Salman’s cup of tea, says Katrina Kaif!

Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan share a very close and personal bond with each other. Seems like she knows the actor in and out. Off late, Kats has been dishing Salman’s secrets out to the media.
Katrina says, Salman’s real life is no different from the reel lif
